Logo DesignHaving a logo has virtually become a necessity for any business or brand looking to make a name for themselves. Your logo is your brand incapsulated into one comprising image and therefore we put great emphasis on the process of designing each individual logo. We want each logo to be a valuable and accurate representation of its brand. Below are some steps we consider upon designing each logo. By using this system we ensure great results and happy clients.
Color impression What colors are best associated with the company's mission statement? Colors are a powerful contributing factor in the transfer of information. First we consider what shade on the color wheel would best represent the services offered. If we are talking about a powerful statement, we consider te darker and powerfully rich color spectrum. If we are talking about a company specializing in dieting we would look more on the lighter side of the spectrum. The next step is to find the perfect individual color to take the lead in the design of the logo. Once we have a dominant color to lead in the design we are set to move on. We may later add secondary colors if appropriate. Having a dominant color, however, gives us a starting point upon which we may choose to build upon later on. style What style would you describe you business with? Before designing each logo it is important to consider what style would be most appropriately associated with it. Depending on the company's different functions is how we ascertain which style to use to best present is visually. Do we want a rigid or more flexible design? is the company's focus more towards the new and modern age or more focused on the past? we ask these and many other questions before we establish a design style. We want to establish a clear style before we start conceptual design. Visual conceptualization What images does your company invoke? Before we begin with sketching potential designs we think of what kind of images the company's focus invokes. This process may lead to some promising results and done thoroughly will ultimately lead to a design which best represents the company's brand through visual conceptions. Using Nike's checkmark as an example we can see how the image is extremely relevant to the company's famous slogan of "just do it". Not all cases are this clearly related, however through this process we can multiply our chances of creating a unique logo design to best represent the message we are trying to convey. We can now begin sketching out some ideas for our logo. Sketch & Review We sketch out by hand or digitally several variations of our logo and send a few over to the client for review. We include a short description with each design explaining the reason for choosing the design and its corresponding colors. We detail how and why we believe each design will best represent their company and its services. Final Design Once the client finds a suitable design they would like to use we finalize their logo including any revisions they request upon review. All logos are sent over in a package containing many variations of size and quality allowing them ease of use for both web and print. Any addtional sizing requests are met with full compliance. In the end we ensure each client is fully satisfied with their final product. We want each logo to be the best representation to be used as their brand's leading image to be recognized and identified by the viewing public. |
