Web design process
Step 1: Design
Each website's design is custom built to best express the site's function and purpose. We create a general design markup which will be the site's central guideline when creating each individual page. Since not every individual page will be designed completely alike we keep the consistent design in our markup. This gives you a general impression of what to expect to see in the final product. When designing the website many factors come into play. All play an important role in ensuring the synchronicity and functionality of the site. Below are some of the factors included in each website's initial and final design.
Step 2: Review
Once we have our first markup of your site we will have it sent over as an image for you to review. The content on the markup will only be fake text (lorum ipsum) as to give the illusion of the site being complete. We want you to review the visuals and decide if you are happy with the results. We also include a short description with each markup to explain how why we have decided to use the design we have created and what we hope to achieve through it. Once you have reviewed the markup you can either give us the thumbs up to continue on to development or move on to the next step.
Step 3: Revise
If there are changes you feel are appropriate or you don't like the design all together we want you to clearly express your concerns in an email or over the phone so we can mold the design to your exact specifications. It is important to try to be as clear as possible so to reduce the amount of times needed to come to a final design. Once we receive the requests for revisions we move on to our next step.
Step 4: Implement
Here we go ahead and revise the design according to your specifications. We try to be as accurate as possible and may be in contact with you during the process of re-design to ensure maximum accuracy. We then move to step 5.
Step 5: Review
We now send you a second email containing the design with all the necessary revisions done. We want you to review it thoroughly, not leaving anything out. We again will include a short description of our assessment of the emotion and message the new design conveys on its audience. If there are any additional revisions you feel should be made we ask you to respond again with an email including all the necessary changes you would like to implement.
Step 6: Revise
Upon our final revision process we make sure everything is polished and designed as exact to your modifications as possible. We make sure your brand is well portrayed and your message well received with the final design. Now that we have our final basic design as a general guideline we send it over to you again for final review.
Step 7: Approve
If you are satisfied and happy with the final design we ask that you send us your approval immediately so we can move on to the next step. Now that we have confirmation and satisfaction from you we can begin to develop your website. Read about the web development process.
